Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all conference and corporate event photography services provided by Jiri Šilha, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Booking & Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed once the scope, date, and fee are agreed in writing and a deposit of 30% of the agreed fee is received. The deposit secures the event date and is deducted from the final invoice.
In some cases, particularly with established or corporate clients, the deposit requirement may be waived by agreement.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
If the client cancels the booking:
More than 7 days before the scheduled event: the deposit is refunded.
7 days or fewer before the scheduled event: the deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellation on the event day or failure to proceed with the event: the full agreed fee may be charged.
Rescheduling is possible subject to availability. If a new date cannot be agreed, the cancellation terms above apply.
Fees & Payment
Fees are agreed in advance and confirmed in writing. The remaining balance is invoiced after the event unless agreed otherwise. Final image delivery may be delayed until full payment is received.
Image Delivery
Images are delivered digitally via a private online gallery or download link within the agreed delivery timeframe.
Basic post-production is included. Additional retouching or specific editing requests can be agreed separately.
Usage Rights
The client receives a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use the delivered images for professional and corporate purposes, including:
websites
social media
presentations
internal and external marketing materials
Images may not be sold, sublicensed, or used for third-party advertising campaigns without prior agreement.
Copyright remains with the photographer.
Portfolio Use
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, the photographer may use selected images for portfolio presentation, website, social media, and self-promotion.
Liability
The photographer will take all reasonable care in delivering the services. Liability is limited to the value of the agreed fee. The photographer is not responsible for restrictions imposed by venues, organisers, speakers, or third parties.
Force Majeure
In the event of illness, equipment failure, or circumstances beyond reasonable control, reasonable efforts will be made to arrange a replacement photographer or refund any fees already paid.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
